MWPG Partners with Coffeyville on New School/Park
Moly-White Pigments Group recently completed a partnership with local city, county and state officials on the construction of a new, state-of-the-art elementary school in Coffeyville, KS. As an active community partner, Moly-White contributed a large plot of company owned land across from the new school. A public park with baseball and soccer fields has now been established at the location.
The school, which serves Coffeyville and surrounding areas, is the largest elementary school in Kansas and cost approx. $20 million to construct. Willis Bromley, Moly-White plant manager, along with other company representatives, attended the school and park dedication ceremonies in Coffeyville on Oct. 9, 2004.
